First we’ll celebrate the Historical Society’s 40th anniversary with our usual scrumptious shortcake served outdoors and under the trees. Stick with us afterwards for The Life and Letters of Algernon Scribner, the Civil War Fifer who served in two regiments during the War. Location: 202 Scribner Hill Road in Otisfield. A spacious pre-1840 barn is available in case of inclement weather as well as a beautiful view of Mount Washington! Masking and social distancing will be required. There will be the traditional $5 fee for homemade strawberry shortcake.
