Description : Most of almanacs in this coll. were published by Dr. Miles Laboratories, Elkhart, Ind. They contain much advertising; monthly information. That information includes birthdays of famous people for that month, notable events, and weather forecast. Probably was mailed to everyone free. Others were titled "Farmers' Almanac," published by the Casco Mercantile Trust Co., Portland, Maine.
