Coronavirus in Otisfield

OTISFIELD HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS LOOKING FOR YOUR ACCOUNT OF OTISFIELDERS LIVED THROUGH THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC!

With any luck, this is the only time any of us will experience the crisis of a major health epidemic which has changed our lives in ways we’re still discovering. We’d like to capture as many personal memories and accounts as possible for our archives so that future generations can understand the reality of life as we now know it.

You can contribute by recording and sharing with us how the crisis has impacted your family, business, education, and well-being. Digital submissions are welcome, too – photos, poetry, recordings included.

The collection will act as a time capsule accessible to researchers, educators, and students of the future by providing context and personal stories about the positive and negative impacts of the virus, at a time when most major institutions have either closed or adjusted to a new reality.

Diaries and written accounts, long and short, are welcome, too. Let us know how you can help us preserve this extraordinary period!

Any information you would like to provide can be submitted to otisfieldhistorical@gmail.com
